Pet Sitting Services
Meal prep with healthy dishes made to your requests, served at your table, and groceries handpicked from your list.
Meal Prep Services
Light housekeeping with dusting, tidying, dishes, laundry, and organizing, so the home stays clean and easy to live in.
Light Housekeeping ServicesWhy Us
Care starts with listening, so visits are built around the routines and preferences of the person receiving care. After a gentle visit at home, we design a care plan, match a companion who fits their personality and pace, and keep the family in the loop as needs change. Our help is non-medical, focused on daily life at home.

In the Area
Grimes runs a senior meal site and activity program at the Grimes Community Complex, 410 SE Main Street, for adults 60 and older. Lunch, bingo, and cards come with no fee, and reservations are taken by phone. Grimes Volunteer Support Services also gives free rides to appointments, shopping, and prescription pickups. Call the volunteer program to ask who qualifies.

We offer companion care, respite care, pet sitting, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
The city requires a license for every dog and cat over six months old, renewed every year for $5 at City Hall, 101 NE Harvey Street. A rabies vaccination certificate is required, and the tag must be worn on the collar or harness at all times.
HIRTA, the regional transit service, took over service in Grimes from DART after the city council approved it in March 2025, and service started June 16, 2025. Rides are booked by phone with HIRTA, and drivers can help from the door to the vehicle on request. A ride with company is also part of companion visits.
HIRTA says adults 60 and older may qualify for a donation-based ride program after completing its Aging Resource Intake Form, with some restrictions. Ask HIRTA how to get the intake form when you call.
The city keeps a Neighbor Volunteers list that matches volunteers with residents who are elderly, have a disability, or struggle with yard upkeep such as mowing and snow removal. Call the Neighbor Volunteers coordinator. For chores inside the home, ask about housekeeping help.
