Pet Sitting Services

Light Housekeeping ServicesWhy Us
Care starts with listening, so visits are built around the routines and preferences of the person receiving care. After a gentle visit at home, we design a care plan, match a companion who fits their personality and pace, and keep the family in the loop as needs change. Our help is non-medical, focused on daily life at home.

In the Area
Every dog and cat kept in Windsor Heights needs a city license each calendar year, starting January 1. The fee is $20 for a spayed or neutered pet and $30 for an unaltered pet. From April 1 on, a license is late and the fee doubles, unless it is a first-time registration mailed in. Send in the renewal early.

Questions
We offer companion care, respite care, pet sitting, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
The license form asks for each pet's rabies expiration date and veterinarian, and the online 2026 form, which takes up to 4 animals per application, asks for a rabies document upload. The license is mailed within 14 days, and the tag must be worn at all times.
The Police Department provides animal control, with a 24/7 dispatcher line for bites, welfare concerns, lost or found animals, and vicious animals. Pets may not run at large, and owners must pick up pet waste.
Parking on any city street is prohibited during a snowfall and for 24 hours after it ends, and a car left there can get a $25 ticket. A visiting caregiver will need to park off the street then, and the city offers text and email snow-ban alerts.
DART local Route 3 on University Avenue, local Route 74 with stops at the Windsor Heights Walmart, and express Route 92 on Hickman Road at peak commute hours serve the city. DART Customer Service can answer route questions. A ride to an appointment is also part of companion visits.
